It was awesome camping up on the mountian.
Base of beehive

Poor Sandee, worked the poop right out of her ;-

We all had a good time on halloween

Lou got a nice big 2 point, with eye guards :-) It was real good to see all the boys this year!

Hiked haystack this weekend, was a lot more intense than I had planned but an awesome hike!

Sage lost her first tooth. It figures she was home alone with Halla while I was at work. I got the phone call with Sage crying in the background, she had locked herself in the bathroom and was terrified! We had talked about the tooth fairy but Sage is my sensitive one... :-j

Halla is such a lovely teenager. I do have to chase the boys away. Luckily I'm so weird and embarrassing, she says! (Yes!)

Here's one of those LOVELY 2 points, with no eye guards! Didn't have any luck hunting. Did see the big one but always across the mountian heading into timber. Saw him a couple days ago so I know he is alive and well, waiting for me next year...

Sage is a great helper. Here she is making venison stew

Grinding meat

The homestead. Got a lot done this summer but not near as much as I had planned. We'll have to wait for spring to finish that list, I guess!

The girls and myself found some time to play after some work!

My bed in my hunting camp on the mountian
Had a nice ride...while I hiked and dragged Duffy's lazy behind up the mountian.

Went bear hunting, no bear but did see a nice owl!

First day of HIGH SCHOOL!! Yipes!

First day of KINDEGARTEN!!! Where do the years go...

The fence is coming along. Do a little each weekend.
Sage always does well fishing. Sage and I went up to Crawfish and each caught our limit.

Sage in the hula girl outfit Kit brought her from Hawaii

Sage and I working on the spring.

The girls and I had fun with these turkey's we saw on the way back from camping at Bonaparte. We would gobble and then they would all gobble in unison!!

Mom and Dad camped with us a couple nights~
Halla and Sage on the lake.

Me running "on" water!

Halla distrubing my relaxing moment.
Halla and Sage. We did a lot of fishing but didn't get anything in our boat. It started with Sage getting a 18" trout on the line, getting it to the boat and then the line breaking. This happened to both Halla and I as well. We were so depressed! I'm putting stronger line on my pole!!!

Went for a drive to lost lake.

Hiked up to the top of the rock overlook for Bonaparte.

Dinner!

Halla has been pretty useless this summer! She broke her arm on a skateboard in early July and has been in a cast most of the summer-bummer!

Sage flying a kite in her undies.

We had quite a summer storm. The lighting was amazing and our entire property was flooded. Our 4 wheeler was moved 20 feet by both wind and water!
Sage helping with the fence. We've been working on this on and off all summer. Hoping to curtail the snow drifting on our driveway. We're about halfway done. A lot of pole peeling!

Sage got a tractor for her birthday. This was the best present because she uses it to help work. She's picked up quite a bit of pole peels for me!

Sage turns 5~

Happy Birthday Sage!
