Remembering Scott and all of the good memories ~~
Summer 2008-Bonaparte lake cabin. We had a great time. I remember I was swimming way out in the lake and Scott was throwing rocks to make splashes around me because it made Sage laugh. He threw a nice one and it smacked me right on the cheek! I was so mad!!! I went over and dunked him and ripped his favorite shirt! Told him that he was setting a bad example and I know he felt so bad. We laughed much about that one later!!!
So proud of his big bobcat!

Christmas tree 2006-Scott always made Christmas so special. He was missed this year but we carried on with him in our hearts. He was so special and made these times so special.

On the way to a Mariners game-one of our first pictures together. When we met we knew it would be forever. Scott and I had alot in common but also so many differences. We balanced each other so well. We had the most wonderful life together and I am so thankful for the 11 years we did have and all of the memories.

This photo was taken just a couple hours before Scott passed away. I am thankful that we had a good morning and that I was with him. It is so hard without him but Halla, Sage and I will live life for him. We are going to finish all of his projects and remember.

Our most dear and beloved left this life far too early at age 52 on Dec. 6, 2008. Scott was born on April 23, 1956 in Puyallup, Wash. where he spent most of his childhood years in the outdoors. Scott was an active athlete and sportsman and he loved basketball (Go Gonzaga), football (Go Cougars), but most of all he enjoyed hunting and spending time in the woods. He graduated from Eatonville High school in 1974 and was honored as an All American Football athlete in 1973 and 1974. Scott joined the United States Army and served his country from 1975 to 1978 and then was honorably discharged. Scott worked for US West/Qwest for over 20 years as a lineman then went on to run his own business. He also worked for the Forest Service and, most recently, Okanogan County Public Works. Scott married his wife of 11 years on November 25, 1997 and shortly thereafter moved to Tunk Valley to live his dream. Scott loved the valley, mountains and wildlife and always felt that he had finally found home. He was a loving and good daddy to his cherished young girls and he provided a wonderful home and life for his family. Scott was also a very proud grandpa to little Saga Nordmark and Grace Fuhrman. Scott will be remembered most by those he loved as a warm, loving person who always “hit the nail on the head” and never beat around the bush. He always had the ability to make people laugh and appreciated all that life had to offer. He could always make something out of nothing and often said he was the “richest man on earth” because he loved his life so much. He enjoyed playing poker, spending time with his family and hunting. He was especially proud of his Boone and Crockett buck taken in 2005. Our loss has left a deep hole in our hearts and we will ensure that Scott continues to live his dreams through his family, friends and all those he loved. He touched the lives of many, in many ways. Scott is survived by his wife, Heather Fuhrman; children, little Sage Fuhrman, young Halla Fuhrman, Daniel Fuhrman, Kate Nordmark and Jim Fuhrman; grandchildren, Saga Nordmark and Grace Fuhrman; brothers, Mark Fuhrman and Lance Fuhrman; mother, Billie Fuhrman and father, Ralph Fuhrman. Scott will also be thoroughly missed by special friends, Bill, Louie, Travis and Dave. Annual hunting camp was always a special time for Scott and his friends.
